2 not so new releases, coming up!!!

I got 2 albums coming out on cd at the moment. One was ripped off by black ambient records some years ago, and now will be re-released on Friday. For every person who buys a copy of this album off of Satanica Productions will get a FREE copy of the DOOM ep with a bonus S.O.D.D. logo patch in red or black of their choice with the cd. He is of the notorious act from Las Vegas, Nevada VALKYNAZ. Also in other projects such as Vinterblot, and Arkitekht. I have been thinking of shirts too, but its too hard to tell at this point. If more of these cd sales accumalate, the funds could be put forth into making shirts, and be sold at a VERY fair price. That will be figured out very soon, but your the ones that make that all possible in the end. Or if I win the lotto.

Latest DDR assembled release via online & TBA on cd!!!

I got this lil number together for Necrowulf of Nordjn and hope you guys can pick up the cd once out on Hammerkrieg Productions, it is called NORDJN - TYRANTS THRONE Ep. And it will be VERY limited once out on cd and will be out in September but you can download it now at Evergrim Recordings to see what its like. You will like the cd package as well. I have taken liberties to some tracks and art but not to a severe extent so its pretty much like the original tracks I have found and the art itself. If you really like it, get the cd once out, these will fly right out of your hands like pancakes.

As for Nordjn, I plan to contact him end of the month to see how he has been since his abscence in the hope of bringing him back into the underground metal scene. Thanks and all your support matters, no matter how big, or small!!! :)

Also, I may have another album assembled and ready for release from a unknown in the mists soon from NY....

Latest Update! on Doom EP

As you all know, I update these pages whenever I can so things do get slow... just as slow as the Doom EP collab coming out very soon! Speaking of which, their will be quite a few artists featured on this one. So fare these artists have sent me music tracks to work with on this album. My drummer Dietrich is also drumming on the songs too unless noted. But so far, vocals, and lyrics still need to be written for songs I ll be doing vocals on and also some songs still need to be confirmed by a few artists. This is what I got so far...

1) Intro (still undecided) followed by One song done featuring Surtr Stormhammer of Valkynaz on drum programming, Me on guitar, and Luke Ironside of Abysmal Dirge on vocals (you can here the excerpt of the song at soundcloud/strings of distorted doom)
2) Matej of Seventh Eclipse on vocals on one track featuring surtr on guitar and Dietrich on drums, and Matej on bass.
3) Angelo of Bastet Illuminara on guitar, Me on Vocals, Dietrich on Drums and Eirik of Masters Eye on bass.
4) Elenyx of Nae (mixed contribution) Dracolord of Sun Fuck on keys, possibly programmed drums, and not sure about vocals just yet.
5) The Count of Dark Metamorphisis on guitar, Dietrich on drums, Me on vocals, and Matej possibly on bass.
6) Outro (still undecided on who yet, but I have a few people in mind)

And that is my scoreboard for now. Various styles, various forms and perspectives of inner doom. I still need to write lyrics and also artwork to do as well. Thanks for being patient and I am not sure about adding any more artists but I have some in mind for the intro and outro maybe.

Like I stated to one artist, this is a Distorted Doom Recordings release, but is also a JOINT release and will say so on the back cover art under the logo. Therefore contributors have just as much rights to release this album once done on there own just like I do. May it be self release or through another label. This is all for you. MOST UNHOLY CONVERGENCE II IN RELEASE PHASE NOW

Latest update I done here in awhile and I just want to make it aware to all the 100 bands on the compilation being released by Satanica Productions that the compy is now being set up for release the best we possibly can. Now, I am busy atm recording new material for a 3 way split album with 2 bands Solace and Valkynaz with my current drummer Dietrich Mueller (Bitter Dawn/Goat Regime) and also Rashid Ghafur (Zebulon Kosted) on bass so I am pretty busy but we are slowly getting everything done and set up properly step at a time. This release will include band pics on the disc in a folder, and all the songs are in mp3 format for downloading them all to your computer, and play in your mp3 compaitable players. The art is also being worked on too and so far we are 80% done to making a master disc for release. Please be patient and it will be out probably early March I think.

More news on Strings Of Distorted Doom, the latest rough tracks of songs being worked on now with my new trio lineup working via online, could be found here. There is still alot to do with these tracks but here is some ideas I have down so far. Enjoy and I appreciate everyones positive feedback so far.

So what is currently happening?

The biggest thing is that we are embarking on the mastering ov this compilation. 100 bands, anywhere between 500-1000 minutes ov wildly varying programme material certainly creates it's own challenges. Unlike the MUC vol 1, this comp will be professionally mastered. Mainly to even out the volume levels from track to track, creating a better experience for the listener.

While this is happening we will also be finalising the artwork. If you look at http://www.satanica.org/muc2.php  you can now see the image that will be the front cover.

And we need something from YOU too. Included on the disc will be a folder that will have an image from every band on the compilation. There is only one rule: This image MUST be a 640 x 480 JPEG. Apart from this it can have anything you like on it.

Attached to this message there is the one we have done for Beltane as an example. Yours need not be so complicated, a simple photo ov your band is fine, but it's a good idea if it includes your band-name!!! :)

For those that want to go all fancy, a point to remember is there is only so much *readable* text you can fit in a 640 x 480 image. Again, the Beltane image should give you an idea ov what's possible.

Why have we chosen this image size? Two reasons: 1) These images cannot take up much ov the disc 2) They are designed for optimal display on a television set that would be typically connected to a DVD player.

Anyone who finds they have trouble sorting out their MUC2 band image can contact Danny DistortedDoom ( danieldanielman@aol.com ) and he will be happy to help you.

Name the image simply as your band name. Nothing else. e.g.  "beltane.jpg"

For those who have submitted more than one project; we require an image for each one.

We would like your compleated artwork to received within the next two weeks. This is when you'll receive the next newsletter. It may announce the release date.

SIGMA AD NIHILUM MAIN SITE

Update : Working on Sigma Ad Nihilums new S/T EP

The band consists of Todd Nicholos on guitar/keys/drum programming and Cody Romak on bass/recording. The sound the band is going for is something progressive with  ambient atmospheric feel about it. So far the EP has 2 tracks done, but might re-record the last track Al Gieid, and the original version of Al Giedi will be found on the Most Unholy Convergence compilation album being released through Satanica Productions. The Ep is nearly half way done but there is still much more to do and more tracks coming up. Expect something new and fresh from Distorted Doom Recordings in association with Sigma Ad Nihilum!
